Sea Container Hygiene System (SCHS)

The Sea Container Hygiene System is a biosecurity programme that manages contamination on shipping containers. The SCHS system utilises a range of proven risk reduction strategies to achieve this goal.
Typically our clients are shipping agencies or ports that wish to join the SCHS to improve their exports into New Zealand or Australia.  We work with New Zealand’s MPI and Australia’s DAWE to find solutions to biosecurity issues to help with trade and maintain biosecurity standards.
We can also conduct research to find solutions on new or emerging pest species that may create export challenges into these markets.  Please contact us to let us know your issues and how we can help.
